Looking for views on the beyblade game. I’m thinking of getting it for DS age 7 (yr 3) and wondering if this is a good gift for this age group? Opinions please!

My son had it for his 8th birthday. He absolutely loves it. I think it’s a tedious dull game. He will play it by himself and with any unsuspecting visitors.
