Hello,

please could you suggest 2nd birthday present ideas for my daughter. Please could you comment on whether the following are likely to be good options too-

a balance bike
kitchen helper step
Dress up clothes
Working play Hoover
Fuzzy felt

she already has a play kitchen/shop/skuttle bug.

thank you!

They won’t remember their birthday. Dress up clothes are nice, but I wouldn’t be buying expensive toys that will be forgotten and lay unused.

Doll and pram.

They all sound like things my boy would have liked at 2 (except fuzzy felt, he'd have eaten it)

Also duplo - I bought my neice a winnie the pooh set for her 2nd birthday and she adores it 🥰

She's maybe a bit young for a balance bike and the step is a piece of equipment, not a gift. The rest of your list is great though.

kinetic sand
paint sticks
Yoto player
bubble machine

My little girl has recently turned 3 so can tell you what she loved at that age and what has lasted her.

She has a balance bike but much prefers her skuttle bug (although is getting too big for it).

We got her a little fold up slide for the garden for her 2nd birthday and she loved it, used to store it in the shed and bring it inside on wet days.

Kitchen helper, we just bought a large fold up stool as she is tall and I dont have much storage in kitchen. Was around a tenner and she still uses it everyday. Also got her a little apron.

Pram, dolls and clothes.

Yoto box for Christmas when she was about 2 and a half. So much better and longer lasting than tonies. Got her frozen/moana song cards for it and then a load of make your own and I put our music on, audiobooks, recorded our own stories. It gets used everyday.

Lots of books.

Shes got a mini dyson but only recently started playing with it.

She got dress up outfits but hasn't been interested.

Honestly the best present was a season ticket to local wildlife park.
