Remote control cars - which one?

I’m looking for a remote control car for DS5, that will last longer than a few months. He was given one at Christmas, that just stopped working, and reading reviews it seems a common problem for most remote control cars that they are just not robust at all, unless you buy a hobbyist one. Unfortunately these go at 30mph and I don’t fancy that around my house! So looking for recommendations for a car suitable for a 5yo that will actually stand up to being played with please!

Try the Monster Jam monster trucks, the medium sized all weather and water ones. We have had a Megaladon and Grave Digger for over a year now and they are still going strong. They are chargable and very robust.

The monster jam ones can be driven outside as well which is a bonus.
