Gift ideas for Visually impaired toddler

Hi all, I'm looking to buy Christmas gifts for my friend's child. He's a very bright, two year old who is visually impaired. I've previously bought busy boards and light up figures etc. So would like to get something different and to keep it exciting but I'm completely stumped as to what to buy. Any ideas would be massively appreciated.

This toy has been really popular with any child who sets eyes on it:

It's a musical elephant. Very bright and colourful. It breaks down into several different instruments to shake, hit, blow. Then there's the fun of putting it back together again which is a game in itself. When assembled, if child wheels it along the floor the tail bangs the drum and the bells shake.

DD is 7 and we've still got ours as neither of us want to part with it and she has friends who make a beeline for it when they arrive.

How about one of these. I have just bought my son one and it's great in real life.
