Does anyone other mumsnetters play BG3?

Hi all,

I was wondering if I could make some BG3 friends on here as no one I know really plays it.

I was suppose to meet Neil at the weekend but my son got really poorly and I couldn't go but my DH has got me a cameo from him for my birthday! I'm so excited.

I've played the game a couple of times now so I'm starting an origin characters run so playing the characters one by one as I think this is an interesting way to play the game.

I'm starting with Astarion and I think he's gonna romance Gale (Bloodweave)

What are you guys up to in the game?

I love BG3 I think it's probably the best game I've ever played. I've struggled with plying it through again though because I just keep making the same decisions. There's no way I'm playing without Karlach and Wyll is always too boring to bring along.

Even my durge run hasn't actually been very different so far!

I don't know how not to romance Astarion and I always make the same decisions so this is why I'm trying to play as every origin character to try and see the game from different angles.

I've just begun as I got a PS5 for Xmas. Currently stuck at the Last Light Inn in act 2 and cannot find a way out that isn't gut wrenchingly sad!

Multiple times!! On the sixth strategic attempt I managed to kill the bad guys. I was missing some key spells/cantrips so I went off and rebuilt a character. I'm playing on explorer (easy) mode as I prefer the storyline to the combat. It's so addictive.
