Filter pump on a large paddling pool

We’ve recently invested in an 8ft intex pool. The kids are obsessed with it, but it’s become clear we will need a filter.

How long do I have to run it if they’re in there 1-3h per day?

We run ours for 3-4 hours.

I've got a 10ft one, the instructions said it has to pump an amount the same as the full volume of the pool every 24 hrs

So if you've a 100 litre pool and the pump pumps 25 litres an hour, it has to run for minimum 4 hours each day.
