Colouring/crayons

Hi mums,
my boys are 13 months corrected and today at a paediatric check up the doctor was saying about them having crayons and starting to scribble/draw with them. It’s something I’ve not bothered getting them because EVERYTHING still goes in their mouth apparently everything is edible/chewable including their tractors 😂 but she was saying that it’s the next thing they need to learn seeing as they feed themselves well and will sometimes use utensils (when they aren’t just chewing them!) what do you all think? These are my first babies so I’ve no idea I just presumed that was something they’d want/need a bit later?

Crayola does a range of My First crayons, washable markers, etc that are suitable from 12 months.
