Recommendations needed for a very alert newborn!!

My DC2 12 weeks old is an extremely alert baby who needs constant stimulation between naps and feeds. She hates the car, the pram and anything else that doesn’t entertain her. Looking for recommendations of toys with lots of flashing/moving that don’t have to push a button every 30 seconds. Thanks!

One of the black and white play mats might be good.

We also have a disco light for older DS but when younger was tiny he loved lying watching them all over the ceiling and wall.

Get a safety mirror and put it next to the edge of the pram/cot mattress so they can look at themselves
Make some white card with black drawings or patterns on (homemade) and put them close to them so they can focus on them, make your own mobiles with black and white
Put baby seat next to washing machine
IMHO & IME please let the baby learn to entertain themselves, talk to them and sing to them while they sit in their baby seat or pram even if it is just you describing what you are doing as you do washing up
