My son got these rocket magnets aged 3, the come apart and can be put back together again a million times, comes in a storage box as well. He really enjoys playing with them.

It's what I always recommend. Quercetti tubations or saxoflute. Best toys I ever bought my kids at that age!

I run a small business called Tots of fun and I sell learning through play sets which include all sorts of things from natural resources, loose parts, peg dolls to playdough. They're perfect for 3 year olds because they love to explore all the resources and the kits are so open-ended that they can go with the flow of their imaginations. Check them out on www.totsoffun.org.uk 😊

Any orchard games really

A bit expensive but Magformers or Connectix are brilliant. My daughter is 4 1/2 and still plays with hers a lot. If you can get a bundle on eBay it would be a good shout. Beware of cheaper imitations which can be unsafe.

Ps had a look on the Magformers UK website and there's a set including some wheels to make vehicles which is reduced by 1/3....worth checking out.

Orchard gamed and puzzles are great, and usually made from sturdy cardboard.
