Help...I need a small gift for under £20 for my 11 year old nephew! Don't see an awful lot of him but I know he likes Natural History, Astronomy, football and minecraft. I had daughters and they are all grown up so totally at sea! I know he is quite an "on line" kid (aren't they all) so wonder if books would be a waste of time..don't even know if he reads a lot . I have asked his dad (bro in law) but that's all the info ..above..he has given me (mum isn't in the picture)

I need it quickly ..for Sunday...as I did order off Amazon and had to return it as when what I ordered arrived it was pants!

My Astronomy loving, scientific minded 11 yr old adored Thing Explainer, but it is a book.

Nerf and Lego are still popular - you can get minecraft Lego kits.

The game Hive was a surprising hit at Christmas.

I think a lot of kids love slime and this kit lets them make their own. Very sciencey! www.maqio.com/collections/arts-creativity/products/cra-z-slimy-28821-creations-slimy-fun-kit

Wreck this journal? Found out about this on mumsnet and it went down an absolute treat

LED lights for his bedroom. Or my DS asked for a lamp that projects the galaxy on to the ceiling in his room. I can’t find the link but it was £21.

A little bit over your budget, but we got my football-loving nephew this 'Smart Ball' - a football that counts your keepie-uppies.

One of the National Geographic kits, like their Earth Science one or a gemstone dog kit?

Ah thanks all, have ordered the book and saved some of the other stuff for other presents...some excellent ideas!
