2 year old birthday gift ideas

Struggling a little for my son who will be 2 next week! I’ve got him a few bits but I’m stumped. He’s not massively into playing games etc yet as he’s only 2 and lockdown has played a massive part in him interacting with people more etc.

He loves cars, birds, trains (Thomas the tank) and the dreaded Peppa Pig/hey Duggee.

All I seem to find is either babyish toys or too much grown up toys! Also haven’t got a massive budget. Any ideas would be welcome 😊

Argos do a huge selection of great toys! And have great offers like 2 for £15 or 2 for £30. Our son turned 2 recently and we got him a phonetics board type thing because he loves letters and numbers. It plays all sorts of sounds and songs, teaches basic maths and numbers...etc. I'd recommend it, my son absolutely loves it.

It’s obviously not the cheapest but we got our son a mini micro scooter for his 2nd and it’s been used every single day since and he’s 3 and a half now. He’s excellent on it too as he started so young and been great getting us out during lockdown. Just get a “lead” for it too at that age and when they are getting used to it

Or cheaper ideas are magformers or duplo. . Last a long time in terms of interest and can be added to over time
