Scooter for 8 yr old

My almosy 8 year old has a junior JD bug which he’s about outgrown. He would like a stunt scooter. I don’t think he will do any ‘proper’ stunts but he would like to be able to jump with it and maybe use the small ramp at the skate park now and again but mostly it’ll be used for pavements and riding around.

Are stunt scooter wheels too small for ‘normal’ riding? What should I get. I don’t want to spent loads but I want something that’ll last. Maybe £50-£80?

What do your 8 year olds have?

Thanks!

You'll need a scooter with:
A fixed deck design, which means that the deck and head tube are welded together.
An aluminium or chromoly frame, so they're strong, but light enough to jump through the air
Thick foam or rubber handlebars to absorb heavy landings
Metal-core wheels. Plastic ones won't get the job done if you're doing proper stunts.
Preferably a threadless headset.

This is a good one www.halfords.com/baby-and-child/scooters/stunt-scooters/mongoose-stance-pro-scooter-2019-231046.html
