It's my toddler's 2nd birthday in a couple of weeks, lots of people asking me what to get him, he has LOTS of lovely things for Christmas, lots of books and clothes. Anyone got any ideas for presents that are not just more tat that only gets played with for a day or two?
I know I could say no presents, but this is close family, they like getting him something.

I love buying toys for my child, niece, and nephews. The good thing is I found interesting toys to buy at kidzgifts.co.uk/news/when-i-grow-up-i-want-to-be/ . Their products are affordable and high in quality.

Best thing we got for DS when he turned 2 was a wooden kitchen and velcro food. He's 3 now and still plays with it most days, forever making me cups of tea

Mine both got a 3 wheel scooter and played with them for 3/4 years.

Wooden train set was also played with for 8 years.

Doll and pushchair usually get plenty use too.

Things that mine still play with at aged six are duplo (they love Lego but they still ask for duplo and there are lots of sets to mix and match).

Wooden train set (as they get older add in remote control trains etc)

Any type of car / police siren type or helipcopet.

Sand pit

Farm set

All these are still going strong and popular with them
