Cuddly electronic pets?

My 7yo has told us he wants something he can cuddle and look after for Christmas. At the moment he has lots of cuddly toys, so I was wondering about some sort of electronic pet, but there's so many out there I don't know where to start.

Are there any you'd recommend?

My budget is around the £30-£40 mark, but could go higher if the toy is worth the money.

I'd definitely recommend FurReal Rex for 7yo boy. It has had some of the best reviews out of all the FurReal pets. It's a little over your budget but could come down for Black Friday. Otherwise look for Torch the dragon.
Little Live Pets Snuggles is another good option and at the moment it's down to £40 in Smyths.
