Hi
My family are asking what our daughter would like for Xmas. She will be 7m by then. I’m not sure, what did your little ones enjoy playing with most 6-12m? Any suggestions? Thank you

I have so many recommendations but my top few would be:-

A busy zoo
A Vtech walker
A bricks trolley
A ride on

Can't believe I forgot the Grimms Rainbow! Also Megabloks, wooden shape puzzles (1yr+), wooden peg hammer things, plastic links...

My daughter adored (and still adores) the squeaky eggs.
She also loves mega blocks.

Thank you
Ive looked at some of above suggestions and some say 12m+ or even 3y +. Are they all good for 6-12m????

Yes - the age range is only a guide - the toys shown will last her well. All stuff suitable for under 3s will be ok for a 6-12 month old.

Second the eggs, also a jumperoo, happy land London bus always a winner too

I’ve just bought hide and squeak eggs for my LO ready for xmas. They’re brilliant. And suitable from 6 months.

wasMissD · 20/11/2017 17:43

Oh yeah, and a Jumperoo!! They’re amazing! He’s got one of those lined up too. I bought a really good second hand one as they’re quite pricey.

RatOnnaStick · 21/11/2017 09:28

Jumperoos are great but only until they are comfortably crawling at which point they basically poke two fingers up at it and get on with terrorising the cat. I would have thought that at 7 months there isn't all that much time left in it. Much better to get something baby can grow into. Anything labelled for 12m will be fine for a younger baby, it just means they will probably get the most out of it as they get a little older.
