Chemistry set for 8 year old

Does anyone have any recommendations of good chemistry sets for an 8 year old boy ?

Thames and Kosmos First Chemistry Set. It's for age 8+, very easy to understand, 25 experiments, about £35. You do need to supply some common household items.
