Radio controlled car

I'm looking for recommendations for a radio/remote control car for a 4 year old please.
I can't find one which sits between being aimed at toddlers and being a flashy sports car type.

There are plenty of such cars on Modelsport. Go for the waterproof and electric cars. There are also Quadcopters if you fancy a flying one.
