Sylvanian Families of Playmobil for 4 year old DD

Hi! its my first post! As silly as this may seem, this is proving to be a dilema for me. Would you recommend Sylvanian Families or Playmobil? OR is their 'room' for both? our little girl is 4.

She currently has a sylvanian family starter house with 4 pieces of furniture and a kangeroo family. Plus we have a playmobil mum with a pram and twin babies. She is showing interest in both. As they arent cheap I dont really want to buy too much to test the water.
Also i like the playground for the sylvanians but also the playground for the playmobil. and the same with the school bus, campervan and so on. Will it just be duplicates of everything if we have both?? As you can see, im so confused.

My DD had SF.

She is 14 now. Last year she decided she was too old for it at 13 but wouldn't let me throw it out. It is now all packed away in the loft....

So I'd say sf

You'll get both sides of the arguments I'm afraid.
We're a playmobil family and have loved the versatility of it. Right now we have a castle which was being attacked by pirates, ruled by a dragon and then taken over by fairies.

Playmobil , then move on to sylvanians when older.
