Fuzzy Felts

I remember having hours of fun with fuzzy felts as a child and would love to get some for my DS for Christmas.

So far however I'm coming up short. I've found a few different ranges for sale but the reviews on them are not great.

can anyone recommend a good brand??

Isn't the brand called Fuzzy Felt? My favourite when young was a fairy tale one with princesses. We have the building site one which DS1 enjoyed when he was two and three but hasn't been interested in since, and the under the sea one which neither DS 1 nor 2 has ever been that interested in.

Yes I think you're right the brand is fuzzy felt but so far on my hunt I've seen an ELC one, John Adams make one, the original fuzzy felt, a couple of Disney ones, peppa pig, Thomas the tank engine etc.

all the ones I have come across seem to have bad reviews and I didn't want to waste my money on a poorly made product.

Ah, well I think the John Adams range is the one we have. It seems OK, although not as robust as they used to be - you have to pop the pieces out of the felt to start with and particularly in the under the sea one some of the tentacles etc got ripped when that happened. But the building site one is still pretty intact after a couple of years of being played with.

I loved fuzzy felts when I was a child!!
When DD was little I got her a couple of ELC sets which she really enjoyed, but that was nearly 10 years ago so don't know if they are still as good.

I bought a mermaid/ under the sea set a year or so back. I was hoping for lots of sea creatures and so on. Instead we got lots of randomish shapes, which you were supposed to carefully put together to make creatures and mermaids. Ridiculously hard and no fun at all. Impossible to play with. Just a construction job.

If someone knows where to find proper fuzzy felts, then I'd love to buy some.
