I just need to share this with anyone else finding their child's vtech toot toot toys way too loud.
I was just sitting in the lounge with my son whilst he played with his and my DH gets his lie in upstairs. Noise travels very clearly in our house - it's a new build and they seem to make paper thin walls and floors these days - anyway I digress. Being a thoughtful wife Wink I couldn't believe how loud the toys sounded at 6:30am - everything sounds loud then! - and I came up I with a genius idea. Simply cover the speakers with Sellotape. That's it. It reduces the sound so well, to a normal and acceptable level. I can actually hear myself think and the old man won't be able to hear it through the floorboards - and tomorrow when it's my lie in, nor will I. Result Star Star Star Star Star

Oh yes, we had a blissful 6 days of peace when I discovered that.

On the 7th day, DS worked out how to peel off the tape. Enjoy it whilst it lasts! Grin

PS - DS has SEVENTEEN of them do you know how much NOISE that is??
