My two children (age 6 and 8) have recently discovered UNO and love it! Does anyone have recommendations for other family games, which are easily portable please?

Dooble, pass the pigs, travel shut the box

I second all that toffee recommended and would add in top trumps and travel guess who.

The travel version of Hive is brilliant. It doesn't even need a board, though I've vowed to take a non-slip silicone baking liner sheet next time we try to play it on a plane as I spent half of our last flight retrieving pieces off the floor and from under the seats in front. My kids have been playing it since 8 and 5 and picked up the strategy element of it pretty quickly. We also bought the extension set (2 extra insects with different 'travel' patterns), but rarely use them as we are still having fun with the main set.
