Bike vs scooter

DD is 3 didn't get on well with a balance bike. We are looking to get a trike with peddles or maybe a scooter with 3 wheels which is usually best?

We ideally wanted to get her a small proper bike with stabilisers but she is only 89cm tall so don't think she will reach the peddles? Halfords smallest bike starts at 3-4 years but says for child 98-112cms.

Ime you will spend half the time carrying it round so I would go for a scooter because it's lighter but if you prefer the bike option, toys r us do smaller ones, 10" I think. www.toysrus.co.uk/mobile/toys/avigo-10-unicorn-bike-with-steering-handle/0083253

My 3yo has a Maxi Micro scooter (on its lowest handlebar height setting. It can be used until the child is around 10yo, I think). She can ride like the wind on it, and I would recommend it.
