hi - am thinking of getting a trampoline but our garden/yard is all concrete slabs. has anyone else done this? did you put down crash mats around it? also what's a good brand of trampoline? thanks in advance.

Most trampolines these days come with a net around them so you can't fall off. Have fun bouncing!

Yeah was definitely going to get one with a net, but does that definitely mean they can't fall off? Perhaps I'm being super neurotic - it wouldn't be the first time! Also do you need to weigh them down with sand bags or whatever?

Thanks!

Our is on decking, so fairly similar, doesn't need any weighing down, it's very stable. The net opens with a zip and I always insist it's closed when someone is on there. Depends on age of children, it's getting in and out that's most tricky if they are still small.

They're five and seven so not tiny and I could get a ladder.

We've had a low-ish height trampoline with a net around it on concrete, and had no problems at all.

Thanks Plahdough. What height is lowish? I know nothing about trampolines at all!
