Logic game for 14 year old nephew

My nephew has asked for a game to test his logic. For once we are not talking computers so I would really like to get him something that we can all play together which doesn't involve screens. Any ideas? Thanks

Egyptian laser chess!!

Google it. It's chess but with mirrors on the board and a laser at each end.

When you take your turn you press the laser and if any pieces are caught in the reflections of the light then they are removed from the board.

Good fun and a good test of logic.
