Flicker or Micro Scooter

Was planning on getting DD a micro scooter, she uses her Early Learning Centre one loads but it's rattly and slow, plus she won't have long before she grows out of it.

She's fallen in love with NDN's Flicker but I don't know anything about them, are all brands of that shape of equal quality? Is it a PITA that they don't fold?

My DD got a flicker a couple of years ago, in the summer . She was on it so much Im surprised she remembered how to walk.

She would have been 10, and absolutely loved it. It stayed in the shed and we didnt taketit anywhere dotit wasn't a problem that it didn't fold.

Thanks for the quick response. Mostly it would be for playing in the street, but I'd like to try scooting to school on it at some point, are they any good for longer distances, like the Micro scooters are?

She's a tall 4.

I'd go for a micro scooter. The flickers aren't great on pavements especially ones that have lots if up/down bits. They're also not that easy to get past when you come up against one with a pram on a path.

DD didnt find up and down pavements a problem, but she was older, I think it would be struggle for a 4yo.

Been googling and I'm confused, is Flicker a brand name, or is it a generic terms for a v shaped scooter?

Yes, I did wonder whether it would be ungainly on a pavement.

Flicker is the brand name iirc. But its used for all v scooters , bit like Hoover for vacuums

Perhaps we should get her a hoover.
