'Talking Angela' App on 'Playstore' WARNING!!

In response to a recent message placed on my Facebook newsfeed, regarding the above application I decided to look at the apps my nine year old daughter had on her tablet and phone.

The Talking Cat Angelica App looks fun, you talk and it imitates your voice. however at the bottom of the App it asks simple questions like 'what are you doing' with an arrow reply symbol. My daughter told me that she had replied to this question and thought nothing of it.....however this was not the case for a family in Scotland...please look on my 'Facebook Anne-Marie Ross'....
The Children were asked personal questions about themselves and their family and friends as well as their school address....the police were called and are still investigating the matter.

Unfortunately, there are many more games like this which I found.....talking ginger, talking ginger's birthday, talking Tom's love letters.....
So please check all your children's tablets, laptops and mobile phones and delete these application!!!!!

I have read the article and looked at the App...I am not convinced at all! My daughter will not be using this App....this is not suitable for children...

Oh god. I am so sick of seeing this one and all the other crap a quick google or look at snopes would show you is utter rot. Thought I was safe here from all of it.

Niper it seems obvious to me that it's a hoax bit ot really never fails to amaze me how many seemingly intelligent people share this shit.
I think one of my fave ones was one about the little coloured mark in the bottom of toothpaste tubes.
Black meant full of chemicals, blue meant less chemicals and green meant hardly any chemicals. I was open mouthed that anyone could think that was true and was also boggled as to what people thought things were made of.

although I had to phone the school yesterday after receiving a text from them about the 'dangers' of talking angela - by the time I phoned to tell them it was a hoax they had already looked into it. Surely they should have done that before sending the text!!

This hoax also makes me laugh because it says it's from some lady in Scotland, who then further down the post, hopes that the police in ocean county can do something about it. Not sure there's an ocean county in Scotland ;)
