Furby boom turned evil!

Anyone experienced a personality change with their Furby? My dd got a pink and black striped Furby Boom for Christmas which had a cute girly voice. A few days later dd became distraught when the Furby's eyes became flame like and it started talking with a creepy male voice. She has stopped playing with it as was alarmed by the change and doesn't like this new character. Anyone know how to get nice Furby back?

Ours is not a boom, just a Furby, but it switches back if you stroke it's back for a few minutes.

Yes, you will feel very silly doing this, if DD can't be persuaded to do it .

Turn it upside down. Stick your finger in its mouth and push on it's tongue while pulling it's tail.

It sounds weird, but that's how you reset them to their original personality.

My dd2 has the same furby and the same thing happened today. I just stroked it's back for a couple of minutes and it turned nice again.
