Remote control helicopter

Has anyone bought one for their dc? What type and how long did it last before it broke? Ds would really like one for christmas but he is 6.5 so it would have to be made of solid steel robust.

My DH has had a couple of cheaper ones and both broke within a day or two!

I seem to remember watching a Gadget Show review of them a couple of years back and it panned all of them.

Who knows, maybe they are better now?

We have one. Got it last Christmas and it is still working. DS1 was 7 when we got him it. Though he is really careful with toys. It has only made a few trips outside and spends most of it's life flying around the playroom ( which is long and high). Was about £22 to buy.

Been well used. Cannot find the thing to see what make it is . Will continue looking.
