Megablocks and Halo

I have a real issue with megablocks. How are they able to market and merchandise Halo toys which are based around a computer game with a 16 rating. This game is based on shooting and killing however the toys are aimed at children much younger. My 8 year old son has become obsessed with these toys and is now desperate to play the game which is aimed at older children.
I find it amazing that Megablocks are allowed to do this. As a company they are almost 'grooming' a younger audience and encouraging their participation in a game which is not suitable.
Does anybody else think this is wrong or is it just me?

I have only seen the Halo megabloks in passing (ie on a shelf in a toy shop) but the same thought occurred to me too.

I wondered if it was actually totally unrelated to the game but I guess not?

Thanks, I'm glad it has crossed someone else's mind. Unfortunately I'm not sure there's anything that can be done to get these big businesses to show some moral judgement!
