Hi, am thinking of getting the nabi 2 for a 6 year old boy. Am wondering how good they are. Am I going to end up having to buy a more grown up one in 6 months time? All he really wants is something to play games on. Are the apps on this similar to the ipad ones? Are lots free like the ipad? Will he be able to get mario? I am happy to get a more grown up one but did like the parental control factor on this one!!

i was going to get my daughter an ipad for her 8th bday think i will get this instead havent seen these look really good

I got one for my 4yo, he loves it and just plays the free games it came with for now.

We wanted the parental control as he is so young but there are more free/cheap apps etc with i products so you may end up paying out more on games for an older dc.

It is a good product though, my ds lves having his music on it a d the touch screen is easier for him to use as he struggles with my ipad.
