Is it as good as it's hype? Is it worth spending £11 on a teething toy??? DH thinks i'm mental even considering it!

Always reminded me of a dog toy.

It is a wonder. Seriously. We bought it for ds when he was 12 weeks old and he was able to get it straight in his mouth and has barely let go of it for 5 months. I do wish they'd make one that didn't squeak though.

DS seemed to like it - chewy, squeaky, good & knobbly for awkward to reach sore gums... Overpriced? Almost certainly. But it does remain the only teether he bothered with. Except for plastic keys from boots that you put in the freezer, which were relatively successful.

So a lukewarm thumbs up from us. But if you get one & wash it try to avoid getting water into the squeaker.

I thought exactly the same!! DH says to buy dog toy instead as a cheaper option! My friend had one for her DS and she said he loved it. Now my DS has started teething i went online to look for it to buy it but couldn't believe it when i saw how much it was. Just wanted more opinions really.

DD was never that impressed with Sophie, I've actually given her away already (by 10mo). But then she's not a big fan of teethers anyway, she doesn't chew much when teething, if she does its the bottom of a bottle or something like that. I'd buy something cheaper, and then think about Sophie if your DS does like chewing. Or ask someone to buy it for a Christmas present

Ha ha hoodoo. My dd2 never really showed any interest in it as a baby but now she's older her and her big sister use it a lot in their dog games.
