Lego Grandma/pensioner - do they exist?

DD has recently started playing with Lego and I'm trying to put some character packs together for her for Christmas. I have bought little red riding hood, the wolf and even a woodcutter complete with axe but I can't find anything approaching a grandma. Anyone ever come across one?

To be honest though I think the joy of Lego is not that it comes with ready made characters and situations (although it does, especially now with all the movie tie-ins) ... But that it is completely modular and can be whatever you want it to be (as long as whatever you want it to be is a bit angular with a yellow face).

How old is your DD? The DK Lego books are good for building inspiration.

You can get granna with a cat and a basket on Amazon, they are called mini figures. The Lego Store might also sell them.

There have been a few Lego Grandmas & Grandpas, including ones in Lego 60104 City Fun in the Park (most recent I recall off the top of my head.) which has been discontinued.

You can them 'parted out' (people buy a set & sell parts from it seperately) from the original sets on Amazon, ebay or other Lego specific sites for somewhere around £5-15.
Put Lego Grandma into the search box on Amazon & you'll come up with loads of them, including the original bagged Lego grandma minifig for around £15.
