Can anyone recommend an Orchard board game for a DS (3.10 ). He doesn't have any board games at the moment. I want to get something he can manage now but will also like in a year or so.

The shopping game was a big hit with both of ours. Also red dog blue dog.

My DD love the shopping game & the lunch box game Smile

ladybird game

shopping trolley (not pop to the shops - that will be good in a couple of years)

what are his number skills like? Bus Stop is good for practising very simple addition and subtraction, putting passengers on and off teh bus depending on what square you land on, but he may find it tricky to match people to numbers in the die. Sames goes for Ladybird game actually - you need to be able to match spots on die to spots on card

My son loves the shopping trolly game and greedy gorrila. (he is 3.11)

My DC love doodlebugs - and as an added benefit once they picked that up they were able to get the idea of the grown up version UNO really quickly.

Shopping list also went down well and greedy gorillas looks good.

Sorry to jump in - can anyone recommend one for a nearly 5 year old (my friend's DS)?

PandaG · 20/11/2012 20:30
