Does any mn'er have a child that's got one? Are they worth the overpriced price tag?

Had the original one that was also overpriced. Bought one for my then girlfriend, now DW. The two used to talk to each other in furbish but only if they were facing each other within about 2 inches. The novelty wore off far too quickly to warrant the price back then and as far as I see, this new one is no different but has LCD features. I am sure loads of people will buy them and they will be a Christmas smash, but I would save your money and buy something else.

omg dd had one. I hated it. Horrible voice chirping away incessantly demanding things. It had far too much to say imo and gave me the creeps. Dd not that bothered either iirc.
