When I was little I remember having a toy which you could use to copy any picture, and make it bigger or smaller. It was fairly simple, I seem to remember just some wood/plastic which had a pencil holder on one side and a tracing tool on the other. You traced with the tool on the original and it drew on the paper. Probably not the greatest reproduction but it was quite fun. I think that I dd might like one for Christmas. Any idea what they might be called and where I might find one?

I had one like that. But can't remember what it was called. I guess eBay would be the place to look but will try and remember its name.

Brilliant, thanks, the toys look c**p, will look into the more grown up ones, one dd is nearly 8 and the other one (who would probably use it more) is only 6 but already trying to decide whether she is more a Turner or Picasso begins to realise why parents encourage children to adopt a profession look out for her drawings of people with eyes on their feet and upside down boats in 20yrs! Will stop googling drawing thing to make pictures bigger!

I had a sketch-a-graph when 30 years younger. Dad pulled it out the loft the other day and gave it to me, box and all. Thanked him and took home, tried it and it was still as crap as I remembered. It went in the bin.

Its always the really bad toys probably because they were never used and look like new that he's got in the loft to pass onto ds.
