Toy Buggies for boys

Hi

I have this problem when I'm out and he's not in the buggy where DS (21 months) wants to push the buggy himself. Which involves me holding him up while he pushes the handles on our Maclaren XLR.

I'm thinking I'll just get him one of his own for his second birthday and then we can push along together and I can store it in the basket when not in use. But everything is so PINK. Has anyone seen any non-pink ones about?

Thanks.

i have a black maclaren (maybe google)

argos do a blue one i think

EverybodysSleepyEyed · 22/05/2012 13:05

amazon have a few too

i wouldn't worry about pink though. My DS had a pink trike at that age!

AdventuresWithVoles · 22/05/2012 13:13

Yes, I have bought them. Could get on phone & ring around toy shops in your area to find one that is mostly not pink/purple. Check Argos, too.

How about a little shopping trolley instead?

MarkStretch · 22/05/2012 13:15

My DS has a shopping trolley, a pink buggy and a play kitchen. I know some people would be horrified at that!

KnittingNovice · 22/05/2012 13:18

Damn iPad blue

hermionestranger · 22/05/2012 13:20

DS has a pink buggy. He carries his trucks, trains and cars in it.

DS has one from john lewis in red, cost £10. He pushes his favourite pink teddy around in it.

tethersend · 22/05/2012 13:21

He is allowed to have a pink one you know Grin

KatyJ26 · 22/05/2012 13:28

Elc do a red one that looks like a mclaren Smile

pictish · 22/05/2012 13:30

Does it matter if it's pink?

John Lewis do a red one - my dd has it.

smearedinfood · 22/05/2012 16:15
  1. If I had a girl I just wouldn't do pink.
  2. (pulls coat over her head to dodge from flaming) Not pink, will make it easier on DH.

ELC do a blue one for £9 that is perfect for this. My DS and DD have both used it.

lemniscate · 22/05/2012 16:17

Sorry, meant to add before posting: it folds up really small and is really lightweight so ideal for when out and about with them as you can just carry it on your buggy really easily when your DS wants to get back in.

smearedinfood · 22/05/2012 16:25

Thank you lemniscate - looks perfect...
