Which is better - Vtech Innotab or Leapfrog Leappad

I'm thinking of getting one of these for DS's birthday at the end of this month.

They're about the same price so thats not a deciding factor. Can anyone who has one of these already give me some feedback about whether you think its worthwhile, or if you have both, which is better?

Can't belive the coincidence was going to post same on behalf of dd who wants to get one for dgs.

Yesterday after a lot of pleading persuaded sales assistant in our local toysrus to let us see the boxes, as none were on shelves all kept in warehouse and nobody seemed to be able to advise. They refused to take them out of boxes to see them working. Seeing them in the box was a great help because the dummies in store did not compare in size to real thing. Both screens are same size but the leappad is smaller overall. The leappad seems more robust for children and has more games available as the old version games can also be played. Our toysrus only had 4 games available for the inotab and didn't know when/if they were getting any more. Dd has tried to research them without much success but seems to be leaning towards the leappad.

We have the leappad - dd usually loves my ipad/ iphone but will play with this happily for hours. Got lots of games too (often on offer 3 for 2 or bogof) battery life is rubbish but we bought rechargeable batteries. Good selection of games / characters too. Search in archive as this came up lots before xmas but for my money leappad was mile better
