Something that will fit in a suitcase?

I need inspiration!

Think what kind of child he is. You could get him:
1.A little book either in thick cardboard/plastic/fabric/wood or a little set of books. IE: www.toddlerslibrary.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=149&products_id=274

  1. A frame which is personalised or maybe a book farem where you can put a pic of you in one side and his parents can put a pic of him in the other side?
  2. Get him a mini set of vehicles with chunky wheels in plastic that he could push on the floor.
  3. An outfit that consists of pants and a tshirt/jumper but in size 9 months so that he can wear it either in a few months when hes bigger or it may fit him now depending on how big he is.
  4. Just a simple little bear with soft padding (what I call floppies as they dont stay sat up if put on a flat surface) but are usually made of lovely plush coberings and babies that age usually take a shine to them. www.sprogbox.co.uk/products.php?prd=X0941
  5. Rattles and little pram toys, no bigger than the size of two of your hands put togther as any bigger would take up too much room in a suitcase.

I know a lot of parents are not always keen on this but mine at that age always like the flashing lights and sounds kind of toys like vtech stuff.

If you want to get books, "that's not my...teddy/dinosaur/tractor/whatever" always tend to be good, if they haven't already got it

I think the rattles/pram toys are the best ideas - lots of them on the sites you have both linked to. Will have a look and see if I can find a dinosaur one!

Thank you!
