Asda large dolls house with elevator needed!

This is a 4 storey wooden dolls house made by First learning, its large and takes Barbie dolls (the attraction) and its piece de resistance is a working lift which is hand cranked. it was £90 reduced to £60. Myself and my DGD spotted this in Asda living in Parkgate a week before her birthday. I said she could have it, went a couple of days before her birthday and they had all gone. I have tried all the other Asda stores locally more than once, today I have had Asda living ring round all the reachable ones but no one has any. They have a basic dolls house in, its not that one. It must take Barbies and it must have a lift. I have spoken to so many Asda customer service people and they all tell me something different, like "We are going to restock after the end of the month" or "it will be online in 24 hours" etc, all to no avail.

If anyone has seen one of these locally in the last day or two please tell me the name of the store, and I will phone them and try and get it. DGD is gutted she hasnt got it but doesnt want anything else yet.

Asda in Fareham have them, I saw them there on Wednesday. There were several of them in boxes at the front.

Asda Gosport had one as recently as about two weeks ago but I am not sure if they still do.

I'm not sure if that is any help to you, good luck though.

They still had them in the Gateshead/metrocentre store yesterday but that might be a bit far for you.

It is a bit of a long way, that's true. But thank you.

I have bitten the bullet and bought a more expensive item, one of the Kidkraft dolls houses or should that be mansions? I reasoned that I could spend the difference in petrol/phone calls trying to get the other one, and as the little one concerned is a bit disappointed it will be worth it to see her face when it arrives.

Thanks everyone!
