Babydoll Mission

My DD aged 2 has commissioned me with a very important (and yes, you've guessed it - impossible) mission - to find a babydoll with hair that can go in the bath and its eyes close when you lay it down.

I have ruled out Babies Annabel and Born for obvious reasons, and have searched the parameters of the known universe for above required doll. The only thing that comes close is Tiny Tears but she's just too ugly to contemplate.

My nursery have several of these dolls but they cant remember where they got them (aaaaahhhh!), and they dont have any makers mark (I stopped and searched several of them like a nutter at pick up time).

Any suggestions?

Have you seen these

Gotz doll

They are expensive but very good quality and if you shop around you may be able to find cheaper. I know TK Maxx often stock Gotz dolls so may be worth a try.

Thank you HoHo, I did find these on my search but these are a bit old for my LO. She really wants a babydoll, like Baby Born but with hair. Thanks for the TK Max tip, I will check it out though.

Tiny Tears? It says she loves to be in the water splashing.

You don't mention budget My 2yo DD has a soft bodied Kathe Kruse and it is lovely quality. This doll doesn't have closing eyes however the site is fab and I think you can search for bath dolls. Also you can message Cate and she will help you find the perfect doll. Bambolina are superb and the dolls are worth the ££s imo :)
