Starting off the playmobil collection at Christmas but what would be best to buy? 4 yr old DSD and 2.9 yr old DS? Any suggestions would be great as there's so much to choose from!!

my ds' favourite is the camper van (it comes with lots of little extra bits, eg plates and pans and cups, picnic set and a bike)

DS got the children's zoo, the meerkat set and the dolphin basin for his third birthday. He loves them all and they're not quite as fiddly as some of the other ones I've seen (except the meerkat food).

We didn't pay that price for the dolphin basin though - it was half price in toysrus.

I think that sets that they can relate to work well (i.e. DS went to a few zoos, petting farms, dolphin/sea lion displays over the summer).

DS wants the £150 castle!! Desperately trying to convince him that the zoo is -cheaper- better Grin

Playmobil is fantastic, my OH loves playing with the stuff with our boys. Its not cheap mind!!

We get most of ours from www.jadlamracingmodels.com/c-7-playmobil.aspx , Im signed up to their emails and we get deals every so often, so I end up using them again and again.

We have the aeroplane and the diggers and cranes stuff, they are really good. Might get some of the top agents this year, looks like its the new thing to get.
