I'd like to give my son a camera for his 6th birthday. He has been using my rubbishy camera to try and make stop frame animation stuff with his Lego and other figures. His teacher mentioned a Digi Blue camera which they use in Yr3 at school but we have a Mac and he'll need to use his camera at home. Any ideas? He is a bright boy but only 6 so something not too complicated but with good results - not just a jolly plastic thing that doesn't really do much.
