Jigsaw-like toy ideas please!

Hi,

DS will be 3 in Oct. He appears to have grown out of most of his toys, and I'm looking for new ideas please?! He loves jigsaw puzzles - he's doing a 50-piece one (very speedily!) as I type. Does anyone have any ideas of toys that he might like that are similar to jigsaws, but not actually jigsaws...?!

What about those 3D jigsaws you can get of famous landmarks etc...though he might be too little for them? board games now...?

My dd is 3 and also quite logically minded she loves Legoand she was given this fantastic 'gears' set where you can construct whole sequences of stuff. She also loves her domino rally.
