lego castle

My ds will be 5 soon and is very into castles and knights. We are thinking of getting him the lego castle along with grandparents

Does anyone know if it is a good castle/toy?

I think it depends whether you primarily want a castle to play with or a building toy. As a building toy, I'm sure the lego castle is great, and my almost-5-yo ds would love it. But as a castle it will probably come apart quite quickly and need constant rebuilding. So if he would mainly like to play with the finished product I'd consider a playmobil one instead.
