dd is using computers at school alot now, and keeps asking to go on my laptop, which I'll let her do occasionally, but feel quite protective of! I thought for her 6th birthday I'd like to get her a computer of her own, shes recently got some inheritance from my grandfather and I can use some of this. Can you get computers that are a bit more robust than standard for children to use? She likes netbooks as she sees them as childsize laptops, are these any good, I'm a bit of a computer novice really! All she really does at the moment is access the internet based games and fronter, but I'm assuming she'll do more word processing in the future.
Does anyone have any recomendations or suggestions?
