Can anyone recommend a cash register for a 3 year old. Was thinking of ELC one or Chad Valley one????

DS has the ELC one. It makes good beeping noises, nice chunky buttons. The only problem is when we shove it in the toybox tidy it away, generally the button to open the drawer gets knocked and empties out all the play money. He hasn't quite worked out the idea of shopping. You pretend to buy something, and he'll try to give you money!

We have the one from Hamleys that has a £30RRP, but is usually available online for 315. Proper calculator, a bleeping scanner (DS' favourite part), conveyer belt and a bit that plays a tune when you swipe the 'credit card'. Comes with the credit card, money (coins and notes), and a little basket and some packets.

I'd really recommend.
