next scooter after mini micro?

we are hoping to give ds1's scooter to ds2 soon and was wondering what the next scooter up is? I have seen the maxi micro as one option but dh winced when he heard it was £90. On the face of it, it is expensive, yes but ds would be using it every day. Is it worth the money or are there cheaper options that are just as good? Not sure what to do..

we tried a cheaper one and it was shit tbh, we got the maxi micro in the end and ds still uses it every day so works out reasonable value in the end (epecially if it will be handed down eventually too!)

I just bought dd1 (4.5 but tall) a normal metal one - cost me £10 & has been fantastic.

Maxi micro is fab, but I'm glad the grandparent's bought ours, 90 quid really is outrageous, even if she does use it every day.

Get the maxi micro one.
