Does ELC dolls house furniture fit Asda dolls house?

Recently purchased Asda dolls house for my 4 year old daughter's Christmas present but very disappointed with the matching furniture set. Would prefer to kit house out with ELC Rosebud house furniture (much prettier) but not sure if furniture will fit? To avoid disappointment on Christmas morning would rather send back Asda house and swap for ELC one. Would also welcome any recommendations for other dolls house furniture ranges. :)

Toys r us furniture is great, I would not pay for elc it is daylight robbery. I got Toys r us house, furniture for every room and the family for £49 last year. DD loved it and ds plays withnit now. (I think its on offer this year too)

But the ELC furniture is so much more realistic .... in that you have to re-mortgage the dolls house to be able to afford the furniture!
