Toy Kitchens - Le Toy Van Vs ELC?

I've got an 18mth old DD, and want to get her a kitchen for Xmas as she's mad keen on helping in the kitchen. I've bought the ELC country kitchen but have now seen a Le Toy Van Honeybake. Quite drawn to the Honeybake as its smaller and more portable but read some mixed reviews on Amazon. We dont have a big house, so Im kinda thinking if we went for the smaller one she'd be able to play with it anywhere, but it is VERY small, so bit worried she wont get a long life out of it.

Anyone bought either? Any DD reviews?!

DD(4) has the Le Toy Van one. In fact, I should have shares in Le Toy Van. For the last few Xmas/birthdays, she has accumulated:

  • Honeybake Baking Set
  • Honeybake Breakfast Set
  • Kitchen
  • Le Toy Van dollshouse

All are lovely quality and she plays with them EVERY DAY. They are aesthetically very pleasing so I don't mind them in the living room.

I bought another Le Toy Van one a few years ago that is similar to the Honeybake one - and tbh it was a waste of money. The door kept falling off and it was too small to be much fun. It hardly ever got played with. We recently gave up and bought the IKEA one instead which I can totally recommend as it is sturdy, a good size, looks great and is played with every day by my two.

DS & I like the sturdy (non plastic) IKEA ones too.
