best camera for 6 year old?

Hi, anyone bought a digital camera for their 6 year old, DD birthday in a couple of weeks and not sure whether to get a kiddie one or cheap adult one?

Kids ones aren't good quality pictures and my 4 year old can manage an adult one. I'd just buy a cheap one for a 6 year old.

He has the little tikes one but always uses our cheap camera we bought for days out now.
